3 Tips To Stay Motivated In Online Marketing

Online marketing is something that can be fraught with difficulties and will, at times, be quite frustrating especially when progress appears to be slow.

Personal motivation will, therefore, play an important role in any future success and in order to help these are three tips that you may wish to keep in mind when you find that times are hard.

1. Be Persistent

Persistence will undoubtedly pay off and the key is to remember that every company no matter how big or small is going to have an off day.

Marketing in general can be very hit and miss as even major companies have tried things that just did not work out, but the key is they kept on trying.

They generally play the numbers game as it stands to reason that getting 10% from a million people seeing your ad means you will get more income than 10% of 100.

Do not be afraid to try things from a slightly different angle, or a different approach, to give yourself a break from the line of marketing that is not giving you the success you hoped.

This marketing form of a change of scenery can often be enough for your interest to perk up as you look to see whether it makes a difference compared to how you were doing things before.

2. Plan Your Day

It is essential that you plan your day out in advance so you know what you are doing at a certain time and do then stick to your schedule.

It can often be quite depressing if you feel you are getting nowhere, but if you see that you are completing various tasks on time, then your motivation levels will not sink as low as you are making some kind of progress.

Do just make sure that you write out a list and score them off and when you feel frustrated look at what you have achieved over the last number of hours.

3. Get a Mentor or Find Success Stories

Being able to read about the success other people have had with online marketing can be a great way to spur yourself on when you are having a tough time.

It is important to get a balance between reading about major companies as well as the smaller ones and see how they have overcome problems with their marketing online and how they themselves stayed motivated.

A mentor can talk to you directly and let you see that good times are just around the corner, but only if you continue to work hard and put in the effort.

So by hopefully remembering those three simple tips you will stand a better chance of being successful with your online marketing exploits and there is little doubt that perseverance is key.

If you quit at the first sign of problems, then you can never expect to succeed with anything so put these tips into action in order to get the benefit.

Success is measured in so many ways so do not look at yourself as a failure, but instead look at minor things you have achieved including the fact you are at least putting in the effort.

Awesome Tips to Write Content for Your Blog (Free eBook Inside!)

With all the recent changes in Google’s algorithm, which decides how web is ranked, one of the most important factors to consider is the quality of your blog.

You need to differentiate yourself from the millions of other blogs around the net, in order to build a good online reputation and a circle of loyal readers.

So any good advice on how to write awesome content for your blog is always welcome.

My friend and blogger Chris Madej of NoPassiveIncome, wrote an eBook (“15 Fast Tips About Creating Great Content for Your Blog“), which illustrates how to create high quality articles for your site.

Here you can read some suggestions on how to produce excellent content, inspired from Chris eBook.

1. Take Some Time Without Distractions

There are people who can write a lot in less time and in the middle of confusion and people who needs a quite place, without distractions and few hours to write a good article.

Whatever is the level of your ability, consider that your writing skill will improve with time!

Find your compromise : check in which condition you are more productive. This is the most important thing, your productivity!

A little advice?

Get a pc without an internet connection when you have to write and produce new content (or switch off momentarily the internet connection of your main pc).

2. Write a Catchy Headline

The headline is the most important part of your article, because it is the first thing the user sees before deciding whether to read your content, or discard it.

For this reason, you need to find a headline that attracts the attention of visitors. An example:

3. Write for YOUR Readers, Not for Google

Yes, of course. Your keywords are important. But your readers are even more important!

So write proper English (or whatever your language is), checks for mistakes, proofread before publishing.

Use a simple style, possibly short sentences and easy words to understand. No errors in spelling, grammar and syntax.

Do not forget to link back to your old articles, which match the content of the new post.

Be creative, try to write articles that meet the needs of your readers. Or, that solve problems.

Write guidebooks or about new trends.

It is important that you consider that the content will be read by Real people, not robots!

4 . Be Original

Remember to not copy!

This is one of the basic rule to follow when you want to create fresh content. Of course you can take inspiration from other bloggers, but  do not just copy.

Be aware that duplicate content is strongly penalized by search engines.

These are just some tips that you should consider when writing new content for your blog.

If you want a comprehensive guide on how to produce new quality posts in your site, or write content of the highest caliber, download and read the eBook that Chris offers you. You will not regret!

Are Your SEO Techniques Outdated?

You should often ask yourself this, especially when optimising your website.

With the constant advancement of the Web, top search engines (particularly Google) also keep on evolving. From time to time, they introduce algorithm updates that directly affect the current practices of many Web masters.

As an SEO marketer, I have been privy to such struggles, causing me to overhaul my methods to make way for new ones. While it is not easy peasy, I do my best to keep up with any development, especially with Google’s Panda and Penguin updates.

If you not so familiar with the advanced mediums, strategies, and platforms online, you may have little idea about our topic today.

This is why we are going to talk about outdated optimisation techniques and their respective alternatives. Check out the following ideas to see if these might be useful to you.

Keyword Stuffing

Do you randomly add search terms to your articles in the hopes of quicker indexing and higher ranking in search engines?

Is this a good idea?

The answer is no.

It used to be an effective strategy several years ago, but it can lead to a penalty from search engines these days. What is more, it can cause a high bounce rate, which happens when the visitors leave the landing page immediately because they do not find the content relevant.

The Alternative

Use keywords sparingly. Instead of spending too much time integrating your targeted terms, focus on the following aspects:

1)  a highly informative topic;

2)  a unique and interesting approach;

3)  a connection to your niche.

As a rule of thumb, write sensible posts and avoid repetition or redundancy.

Low-Quality Link Building

You probably know that links are crucial for gaining visibility and ranking in SERPs. But are you aware that some Web masters are opting for a short cut by linking with spammy websites?

Although this tactic is quick and easy, it may have your site penalised.

The Alternative

Do not hasten the process. Instead, allow the links to come naturally. Maybe you can follow established and trusted sites in your niche. You can join their network and comment on their content. When they see that you are worth mentioning, they might just link to your website.

Furthermore, do not randomly place links on your articles, especially if you want to place references. What you should do is integrate these properly to the right webpages.

Finally, do not fill your pages with internal links. According to Google’s design and content guidelines, you have to keep the amount reasonable. Additionally, “every page should be reachable from at least one static text link”.

Submitting to Link Farms

Also called free for all (FFA) pages, submitting your URLs to these portals provides you with instant inbound links. However, search engines are strongly against this method.

Now why is this bad?

First, these websites hold no authority at all.

Second, there is no limit to the number of links, which you can submit.

Third, there is no emphasis on the URLs’ importance or relevance to the readers.

Finally, they are crammed with keywords and ads that do not even relate to the content.

The Alternative

You can submit to Web directories. But note that you need to practise care when taking on this strategy.

To be safe, you must choose a portal that is specific to your niche. Additionally, it must already have gained the trust of Google and other major search engines. Remember these things may just provide you with additional links needed to boost your site in SERPs.

Overdoing Blog and Forum Commenting

Another short cut to gaining backlinks is adding your feedback or remarks with links. I am not saying that this is entirely bad. In fact, it can lead quality traffic to your site.

The main problem is in overdoing it through posting comments on unrelated blogs or placing your links outright instead of starting a casual conversation.

Since search engines check and analyse your links, they will find out that you are spamming and may remove you from results pages.

The Alternative

Find blogs, forums, and/or discussion boards that tackle the same topics as your site. This way, you can give relevant comments. And, if you are able pique the other users’ interests, they might just ask for your link.

Cloaking

Even the name itself sounds ominous, does it not? This method involves showing search engines different content from the one you provide to the visitors. Several website owners do this by means of JavaScript redirect or “doorway pages”.

The Alternative

Show the same content to search engines and readers. It is as simple as that.

Final Thoughts

Based on the insights I have just presented, it goes to show that you need to keep up with the Internet’s and search engine’s fast-paced changes.

Ensuring this is the best way that you can make your website stand out from the plethora of other domains.

Since 2004 we have got millions of blogs and bloggers. Now a days blogs and Social media websites are dominating internet world. We’ve got so many pro-bloggers in past few years reason behind this is curiosity.

Homo Sapiens (Scientific name of Humans) easily attract towards a stuff which is new and which gave success to others.

As I’ve mentioned above that we’ve millions of blogs but only thousands of bloggers are active and passionate about blogging.

Some bloggers complain about not getting interaction on their blogs and part of the reason they are so unsuccessful is that they are not willing to put in the hard work it takes to engage their readers.

They just got messed up between their responsibilities and blogging and lost it. At the same time we are also having some bloggers who have much passion of blogging so that they are ready to face any hurdle, ready to quit anything for blogging. And trust me these kind of guys definetly get the success and dominates the blogging world.

Use Meta Keywords and Meta Descriptions

Meta Keywords and Meta descriptions are the major part of SEO. Now What is Meta Keywords and Meta descriptions and what is their use?

Meta Keywords and Description are the useful tools to get good rank in Google Search result. Its all about Google Search algorithm.

To make you understand better let me tell you about Google search algorithm. Suppose you are searching for a keyword “tech blogging”.

To give you the best search result, first of all Google spiders(bots) will search the pages which have keywords “blogging”, after keywords they will check the descriptions. After that they consider various factors like page rank, on page optimization and lots more to rank your page in search result.

So I think you have came to know why Meta Keywords and descriptions are useful.

Remove Useless pages from Google Index

In initial update algorithms it was good to have many pages indexed in Google. But now Google wants Quality over quantity. That’s why Google has introduced Panda Update.

Panda Update is a domain level penalty update which means that your single low quality content can degrade your whole blog reputation. So I will recommend you if you have low quality or useless pages indexed in Google then remove them by Webmaster tools.

By the term “Useless pages” I mean that the pages like Disclaimer, Privacy Policies, subscriptions, page archives, category and tags author bio page and such kind of stuff.

Write Epic Content

Original and Quality content is the key of success.

Not only Google give reward for original content even your readers impressed with this act. If you copy the content from somewhere makes you part of plagiarism act.

And trust me getting involved in this act is a serious issue and can ruin your whole blog reputation.

Do Research before writing

Before blogging about any content make sure you have complete knowledge about that. Never do acts like rewriting because sometime if you missed any point in the article the whole article may have completely different meaning.

Initially I did the same. I was passionate about blogging but didn’t have enough energy to write long articles. So my articles were had meanings like out of the world.

Never write anything about which you don’t complete knowledge.

Suppose you are writing something with incomplete knowledge and your readers doing cross questions on that article then it may be a problem for you. It may ruin your blogging life.

So these were some basic tips on basic blog tips of hard working. These acts are part of hard working and trust me without this kind of hard work you are not going to survive in field of blogging.

If I have missed any point or if I’m wrong at any point let me know in comments.

12 Simple Advices for Successful Beginning Blogger

Nowadays the Internet is like one big garbage dump where all users try to find something they really need and every blog is a part of it.

Some things are useful and good but there is a lot of trash there. And how to manage all this staff and make your own blog qualitative, interesting and popular for other readers?

The simplest ways to make your own blog popular and interesting

1 . Write unique content. Your information should be really good and new. Don’t copy the articles from other web-sites. It can ruin your prestige and nobody will read your blog next time. Bad reputation is the death of your blog-life. Write it more diligently than you talk on Facebook.

2 . Choose those topics that are of current interest for many people. Make a short, simple research what people are looking for in the Internet every day. We can help you: it can be entertainment, news, information, education, social networks and so on. If you have something to add, welcome! Mostly, people like to read and speak about things they are interested in, that are on top of their daily routine.

3 . Try to write about everything that can be actual today and not only for you. It can make you a successful blogger.

4 . Before posting the next article or comment just think, ask yourself, ‘Is my blog useful?‘ Because so much low-quality information fall thick and fast every day on our weak minds that it becomes more and more difficult to ‘filter’ it. It’s easier to delete then to read and think over useless content.

5 . Check all comments to your posts because it’s important for your readers to feel response and attention from the author. The more comments you have the more popular in the global network you are. Sometimes just one post can become the reason for people to communicate, to discuss and sometimes to find right way to solve a problem.

What Should Know Each Beginner about Making a Blog?

6 . Do not repeat that you were talking about earlier. Repetition is a sign that you do not know what to say, to write about further. It’s a straight way to your death as a blogger. Think about it and create only new content.

7 . Do not forget to add different pictures, photos and postcards. Make your blog colorful and nice visually. Poor background is not good, it’s boring. Nobody likes boring things. But do not overdo with it. You should know when to stop.

8 . Contact with your readers and congratulate them with every good day. Try to make their mood better and they will be grateful and challenged to go to your blog every single day. You can add different music, sounds or just funny staff if it’s suitable and correct. And it’s good for you.

9 . Refresh your blog regularly, do not stay at one stair if you know you can do more and better. Your readers should be interested in coming on your blog and finding something new and hot information, thoughts, comment every time.

Think about People Who Read Your Blog

10 . Make different inquiries and tests. Readers like when something depends on their opinions.

11 . Be careful with spam, delete and ban all spam-messages because it influences on your prestige in the Internet.

12 . Cooperate with other bloggers and be the active user as well. You should know what other people are interested in and what they do. You are not the center of the blogging-world, you are just a part of it. Try to get a respect by respecting other people. By the way, very often it’s a good way to find out something new, to improve your own skills and knowledge and to use it in your Internet-activity.

So if you decide to create your own blog, think over everything that you should do and how to do it better. It’s not so easy as you can think firstly.

Good luck in this hard business : writing your own blog!
